VGKids now offers inside-back screen prints with the option of garment tag removal!
Brand your garments with your logo and identity in a way that is sleek and label-less.
Turnaround time is slightly longer for these branded garments, but what you'll get in the end is totally worth the wait.
The price is exactly the same as an outside back print, so you can run it through the calculator that way if you'd like! We can print multi-colored artwork on the inside as well, we just ask that we keep each layer to one hit of ink (so it doesn't get too thick).
The only time extra costs come in is if you'd like the manufacturer's label to be removed-- there is a 75 cent per garment charge for that.
Yes! We remove them cleanly and professionally for 75 cents per garment-- so all you're left with on the inside back is your personalized artwork.
We can also leave the manufacturer's labels in if you'd like-- if you don't want to deal with meeting the FTC's requirements in your own artwork, you can choose to leave the labels in.
The turnaround time is 2 to 4 weeks, so please plan ahead! We want to make sure we have plenty of time to get your inside back art squared away and looking great.
If you are leaving the garment tag in, any brand is available. However, if the garment labels are being removed, only Fruit of the Loom and American Apparel brands are available.
If you choose to leave the manufacturer's label in, you can design it however you'd like-- there's nothing legal you need to worry about.
If you choose to have the manufacturer's label removed, there a few legally-required things that will need to be integrated into your artwork.
Keep in mind, we will be printing whatever you submit! We can help you find the info you need to create your art, but unfortunately we cannot create if for you, unless we charge an extra design fee (beginning at $60).
The largest your file can be in width is 3.75".
What is commonly done is posting each size in one artwork file (see this example we used for an American Apparel garment), and tape off as necessary. So when we're printing smalls, on the screen we'd tape off medium, large and x-large, and so on.
If you are having the manufacturer's labels removed, yes, you will need an art file for each brand, because each brand will have at least a different RN number. You may also need a separate art file for each garment with differing fiber contents-- like if you chose both American Apparel 2001 (100% cotton) and BB401 (50% cotton, 50% polyester) in the same order-- unless you are able to work it so that we can tape off on the screen accordingly.
Yes! Just keep in mind that each color will get hit once, so that the ink doesn't get too thick inside the shirt.
